As This is The Solstice, Happy Birthday, Great Master, Jesus the Christ!.

Dog Poet Transmitting.......

Sitting here on this solstice day, listening to The Best of the Buffalo Springfield and... reflecting on the days fifty years ago when I used to listen to the Beatles and Bob Dylan and continuing on the theme, hear these songs

...and so many others; back when the creativity was aflame and the muses and inspirational angels descended down, closer to the Earth than they had been for some time. Every so often I close my mind to the world outside and listen to my dear friend, Jerry Lawson and The Persuasions. Somehow we went from Sam Cooke, Stevie Wonder and all those incredible artists of Motown to this. Yeah... what a time to be living in. Every now and then someone will come by and tell me I am too judgmental about the medium. Whatever this is it isn't music, it's a Satanic assault against the senses and it is CALCULATED to that end.

Does anyone stop and think; “where can this all be leading?” It is very clear to me. There is no confusion in my mind about it. Everywhere I go, it's carcinogenic food, banal and offensive entertainment and the certain knowledge that Lady Nature and the hierarchy of Heaven are not amused. “God is not mocked” and sooner or later, the seemingly, infinitely, patient Lady Nature is going to react. Within each of us there is something like a rubber band. The same applies to cultures and countries. You can only depart from Nature so far because Nature is every bit as much within you as without. You have a certain amount of flexibility and then it's tension, then more than that and sooner or later, to paraphrase Lao Tzu, you repent of the pull.

There was some amount of creative beauty (and an equal amount- maybe more- of decadence) in The Yellow Nineties and then, of course The Italian Renaissance, speaking of which, I thought that this might amuse some of you. There have been times when the creative forces from Heaven filtered down into some of our lives, more than at other times. Pre-Christ Athens was really something and that was followed by those glowing centuries in Rome when certain barbaric customs weren't the highlight of the day. One of the emperors used to roast a man in an iron bull, while the sybarites feasted; hard to imagine. However, we did get Marcus Aurelius, Plutarch (who was Greek but you had to count him as a Roman too), the remarkable historians, Tacitus, Livy and Pliny (sounds like a law firm) and so many fine and erudite philosophers. I often reflect on periods of time and the contrast between now and the once was. I'm not Minniver Cheevy in any case. One of my favorite poets, Edward Arlington Robinson also wrote Richard Cory, though, probably a lot of people now think it was Simon and Garfunkel. There once was so much beautiful literature and poetry. What happened? Now we get these celebrated poets?

That is really, really BAD! There aren't any words for how bad this is. What is it? For literature and in Shake n Bake films we get Fifty Shades of Horseshit?

The decadence of certain Roman Emperors, unfortunately tend to overshadow elements of brilliance in architecture and the finer arts. Except for the times of Louis Quatorze and The Enlightenment, there were a lot of dark periods in Western History- countless wars and the state of London in the times of Dickens. We tend to forget that before any of this, China had a lot of timeless culture, matched on the other end with some of the most inventive cruelties I have ever heard of, rivaling the Barbary Coast and the truly monstrous periods of Turkish exported torment; not to be confused with Turkish Taffy, although, no doubt a number of the victims probably resembled something like it after the torturers were done. Of course, emperors often got as good as they gave. They had some strange ways back in the day.

Of course, glitter and fine art were not the only by products of Dear Louis's reign and the same can be said of all of them, considering the presence of The Medicis and Borgias here and there, as well as Caligula and Nero and assorted villains, including the aforementioned, there was Commodus, Caracalla and Thrax. You seldom hear mention of Vallens and Valentinus but they were 'down there' when it came to applied darkness. Then again, Cosimus Medici commissioned this deathless expression of inspired beauty. Where do we see anything like this in the present day? Here is what we see these days and you can spend a lot of time checking it out. Even lowbrows consider this shit, shit.

Once Beethoven, Bach, Brahms and Mozart and a host of others walked the earth. Now we have retarded gangsta rappers talking about 'bitches and ho's' and other things like this that determine in graphic detail, the state of the culture. Once again we have to refer to Lasha Darkmoon for what is behind The Plot Against Art. At the bottom of the page you can go to Part Two. There is no doubt in my mind what is taking place and I have the easy solution and that is to move right along, there's nothing to see here.

Yes, I spent half of this posting talking about things I see in dreams and memories and I spend a lot of time I don't write about, congratulating myself on being an inveterate and eclectic reader on so many subjects. As a child hiding from the werewolf who lived with me and whom I could not avoid, I would climb high into fruit trees and read Twain, Kipling and sundry. I escaped into the worlds of imagination and they probably saved my life. Not that I am talking about perhaps being dead but more about being dead to the endless and breathtaking possibilities of life.

Today, I'm celebrating the birth of one of my greatest heroes, if not the greatest; Jesus Christ. I'll continue with that right on thru the official birthday and try to remind myself that it is something I should celebrate every day of every year because somewhere, on that day, the spirit of Jesus Christ is being born in someone. It might fade away from a lack of Love and Tears or it may grow strong like that mighty oak out of the acorn, which gets mentioned now and again.

My mind is filled with so many strange references. When I was referring to the Duomo, (I have to keep giving you images of it). I was reminded that it is Hannibal Lecter's favorite structure (grin). I was there a few years ago with my good friend, Roy. We didn't go in anywhere. You have to make an appointment or a reservation months before to see any of the artistic wonders of Firenze. Of course you can see Michelangelo's David, unless they moved it back inside. I spent a lot of time in The Vasarian Corridor. Roy and I bought a few pictures (surprisingly cheap) of great works of art but... no one but us was impressed by them once we got back to my place in Ostuni. We had lunch somewhere but all I remember is how hot it was and we seemed to be aimlessly trekking about. There was a feeling of oppressive atmosphere and the weight of money in this town. I can't imagine what it must be like in season. Good God!!! This is what happens though when so many people think they want to see something. Try Venice, which I was smart enough to avoid. You can hardly move there at certain times.

People are all hopped up about seeing those castles in Spain and the spectacle of natural wonders but they spend scant time seeking out the wonders in themselves and each other, as God is incarnate in all of us; dead asleep in many cases and dreaming away. I spend so much time thinking and not thinking. It's one or the other and I am animated by the spirit of Jesus Christ (all you have to do is claim it to make it true), whose blood paid for the age or there would have been no age. You can think of it metaphorically or literally. The majesty and magnificence of the art speaks to the reality of Jesus Christ. You need no other manifest evidence. Look at what was launched around the world over the course of thousands of years. Remember that Jesus Christ is and was emblematic of freedom in it's highest possibilities. Heaven is the ever widening great expanse of more and more rarefied freedom, where one's being celebrates the eternal residence of the soul, illuminated by and electrified with spirit and Hell is the bondage and confinement of the spirit, through appetites and ignorant desires in such a degree of compression that it generates more and more heat the deeper you go. Eventually there will be flames.

Do you realize if you simply and relentlessly keep looking for God, you will find him? This is guaranteed. That more people do not do this is because other attractions come between the person and the living light that animates them... for the purpose of such a discovery but also... for the purpose of experience and demonstration. “I think, therefore I am.” “Be still and know that I am God.” Heaven is impersonal. That is why there is no conflict or discord and the absence of these things makes a Heaven of it. In the personal, there is the endless conflicts of personalities, insisting on their preeminence but only God... invisible and eternal, possesses the preeminence over all things as the author of all things and makes no big to do about it. Remember that Heaven begins where your feet touch the Earth; should you have a preference for that.

Too many of us are singing this song, badly...

...as it streams from the polluted subconscious, awash in the flotsam and jetsam of temporary things.

The greatest evidence as well as the greatest explanation of the nature of God is to be seen in The Sun. This is what God does. God shines all the time on everyone and in some few cases, out of them as well. The sun is truly impartial and there would be NO physical life without it. It warms us, gives life and for the sensitive soul, there is an intelligence therein that can be apprehended and I know this first hand. It is possible to see angels circling the sun in descending spirals and returning again in the same manner. One can think of The Sun as their friend and forge that very relationship. The Sun is a living being and like all stars, was once a human being, just like you and I.

Jesus Christ is clothed in the light of the spiritual sun. His body is a solar body. Of course, my simplistic statement is far from comprehensive. Jesus Christ is The Wayshower. If you're in need of directions, he has the map. He IS the map, a vibrating and everlasting path that leads to the secret heart of all life.

Happy Birthday, Great Master!!!

Les,
you spoke directly out of my heart. It pains me to see the decadence exploding. My ears hurt hearing today's glorified non-music. Incidentally listening to the queen of the night at the moment.... But I digress. The happenings of late have me worried for my kids, one can only wonder what will happen next. I hate that they will have to deal with all the human dissonance and chaos appearing at the horizon.
But 'Tis the season for hope and gratitude, so I shall get myself together and project positivity.
A very merry Christmas to all, may his love touch the many

Ah... my dear friend. It has been awhile. I know exactly what you mean. I look at the youth and the mass of trivial distractions. What troubles me even more is when I see them sucked into it and are clueless of the cost to themselves. I experience a kind of horror when people mock the spiritual or are indifferent to it. With even a little faith in God one can go a long way in the right direction and... doing so, have faith added.

Beautifully inspired truth, thank you good Visible.

Appreciate the reminder to embrace Christ spirit all year through.

Merry Christmas to all,

What blew me away is you mentioning the Borgias in this, and how Cesare Borgia was used as Yeshua/Joshua/Emmanual/Whatever other name is used, in art. Oh, the irony of it all. Yes, I loved the post!

Mr. Visible,

I don't comment much, if at all, but today, the synchronicity is too great to just let it pass. I'm reading "The True and Invisible Rosicrucian Order" by Paul Foster Case. He says much the same thing regarding God and Christ in that work, as you say here. I encounter these ideas more and more frequently now, since I have recently returned to my esoteric practices. Now, if I can just learn to live this idea as my reality. I feel that this truth is just beyond my grasp and If I could reach just a bit further or see just a bit more clearly I could grab it. Alas, it eludes me. Ahh, the lure of materialism is strong!

I am told that the state of the world is in balance and just as it is supposed to be at any given moment. That all things come from the One and that the appearance of evil is simply my inability to see the true state of things. I have great trouble with this. If this is indeed truth, then my vision is limited, indeed. It appears to me that we are in the proverbial handbasket and picking up speed on the downward journey.

In any case, gotta agree with you on the art and poetry thing. I need to start painting!

Thanks very much for what you do and I wish you a merry Christmas! Here's to a clearer vision for all in the new year to come!

Are you the Eric that I met up with in Mexico? If so I was wondering how you might feel about editing my new book; "Practicing the Presence of God"? I have several people already who have offered to do this so no worries. Mostly I want to know if you are that Eric and I also wanted to mention that in this book, much of what you are talking about is discussed. I am very pleased with what happened because I didn't personally write most of it. It just came flooding out from another plane. I suspect some of it has to do with my recent encounter with Babaji and the effect that his awareness has had on my lack of awareness. I wrote it all with a fountain pen. I love fountain pens and I have quite a few. I am mostly sending them out as gifts to friends. It seems that many people like these and I found a way to acquire some high end pens for very little cost. I even got an art deco quill pen and ink well for a song. I haven't gone to use it yet so it sits there vibrating at me (grin). If you are that Eric you could write me at lesvisible@gmail.com I keep thinking that you used to spell your name Erik so you might not be... but I might be wrong too. Merry Christmas!!! Whatever the case. By the way that Case book, I had it for a while and then I foolishly loaned it out to a Tribe couple and they refused to give it back Weird. They used to play bridge with Bob Longhi who was a restaurant owner in Lahaina Maui and I lived just down the street from him on Front Street. I would take walks with a friend up that road and on occasion I would run into them as they were taking a break from the cards. It's not often I run into people who outright stole from me and had never a whisper of conscience. Of course they were former school teachers and committed New Age junkies. That's an expensive book; probably why I haven't replaced it but... you having mentioned it is sending me to Ebay right after I post this to see is I can get a used copy. Be well.

I have been saying all my life that 'I will not be THAT older person fussing about how awful the world has become', and was there I was fussing about it before I even became old--and here we are. At times I can't believe the things that are tolerated--nay, celebrated in our societies; globally we are more connected and many of us have more material abundance than ever in history and this is the best we can do?
I wish Visible and everyone here a very happy Yule season with rest, connection to our Source, fun, and fellowship.
2019, bring it on!

Mr. Visible,

I am not that Eric, but I will look forward to your new book. You can get used copies of the case book either on eBay or from the evil Amazon.

In the past, you recommended several books that have somewhat changed my course through this world. "The Way to the Kingdom" which was a bit too Christian for me, but my wife loved it, and "The Science of Mind", which has served us both well.

Visible said...

Okay not that Eric (grin). I have already ordered the book at Ebay for $10.80 with free shipping~ Wow! That is a great book for those with a discerning mind. Case was an adept.

Eric said...

Case was indeed an adept. The book was an eye opener, for sure. The depth of the allegory in the Fama and Confessio was just astounding. To understand gematria on that level is more than I can imagine.

Visible said...

I studied with the BOTA for 3 decades and got the gematria book and course as well as so many things. It profoundly changed my life. Then one day I moved past all of that to pure bhakti. That is what I have found that works. Everything else has peril attached to it in these times. I'll never forget the good the courses did me though. I met Anne Davis twice at the temple in Pasadena. We also had our own group that met for years in Woodstock. My life has been filled with these things. Eventually they led me to the inexplicable light and that has pretty much handled everything since.

Merry Christmas to you Les, and to all.
It's not as if there are no good Artists in this time, but they are ignored by the "industry" and so often missed by the masses.
I recommend for one David Olney (search for him). A great songwriter and performer, but he does an occasional cover.
I was particularly blown away by his version of "She's not there".
I'm also quite fond of Mozart.
Love to All, and tears of joy this season.

Thank you my friend(s). Merry Christmas to all of us. Yesterday I was not in good shape. The world.... is conscious to a degree and it has had a hard on for me for a long time. Yesterday it did things that I don't even want to start to go on about. Despair actually does have depths. Hold your breath if you want to. It won't change the way the world is. I kept asking myself; "Why does God hate me so much. Although I have rarely seen anyone as committed (I've even been 'committed' a few times (grin). I pretty nearly lost it when I saw that what was happening was personal. So many inexplicable things happened that it couldn't have been anything else. Today, I am walking on sunshine. I lost my temper a few times. I don't even know where it is now, but I don't care. I'm walking on sunshine. Quite frankly, I'm floating down into this afternoon. I kind of sound like I'm on Quaaludes but I'm on. I'm high on God

Thank you all for being my friends. Though some of us might not meet on this plane this time we shall meet by that river. There in the glorious splendor of God's unwinking eyes, we will dance like there is no tomorrow and there won't be a tomorrow on that everlasting day. May God richly bless you one and all.

Hello Les,
Another fine blog worthy of comment, though I feel that way about all your blogs. What you and others speak of here and there, other blogs, makes me see where I'm looking forward to Be. I have a friend who says you have to want the want and do the do to get the get! I agree with that on so many levels! Your words ring through me and touch my heart to the point that tears form in my eyes knowing what I read here is the truth.
Wishing all who visit here, and their family and friends, a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy, Joyous and Prosperous New Year!!

An excerpt from a daily reflection
A "SANE AND HAPPY USEFULNESS"
We have come to believe He would like us to keep our heads in the clouds with Him, but that our feet ought to be firmly planted on earth. That is where our fellow travelers are, and that is where our work must be done. These are the realities for us. We have found nothing incompatible between a powerful spiritual experience and a life of sane and happy usefulness.
— ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS, p. 130
All the prayer and meditation in the world will not help me unless they are accompanied by action. Practicing the principles in all my affairs shows me the care that God takes in all parts of my life. God appears in my world when I move aside, and allow Him to step into it.

Peace!!!

Merry Christ Mass to one and all! Having 'seen' what I have seen (via my Higher Self and others), I believe fundamental changes are oncoming. Like Vis has written many times, what all-God (the ineffable) puts Power and Life into, persists. When that support is withdrawn or changes, stuff 'down here' must ultimately follow...

Assuming real, there have been numerous 'adjustments' going-on within the lower-archetypal levels. This gives another meaning to the trickle-down effect. It ends-up much like Vis' writings that the changes will be coming from the inside out. Also good is that they are pretty-much irresistible. The only 'problem' comes about because of these inside-out changes. Depending on how much of a person's ego-personality is based on earlier lower-archetypal 'bedrock', it can be painful (literally) during the swap-over period to new lower-archetypal structures. Hang in there; it will pass. And the new 'values' should be much sweeter...

It appears as if the world is getting some Christ Mass presents!

Best Wishes,
Ray B.

From a former friend to a present friend; you hit that one out of the park.

Meanwhile, Ray was his usual consistent self, bringing material representation in as a simulacrum of what we can't see (did I say that right?).

Ray B. said...

Hmmm... Vis, I believe I grok what you were intending, concerning my 'method'. (I can't quite make out whether your sentence was neutral, supportive, or caustic.)

Yes, my experience to date leads me to believe what we can only truly 'see' who/what is within a limited range above us. Close to our frequency-level, so to speak. Beyond that, we have no experience with what is really there (from this lifetime). So, the brain fills-in with a 'best guess' depending on our personal life experiences and motivations. A devout worshiper of the feminine who is Christian-based will encounter some form of light/energy/presence and 'observe' Mother Mary (etc.). A devout worshiper of the feminine who is Buddhism-based will encounter some form of light/energy/presence and 'observe' Quan Yin/Guan Yin/Kwan Yin (etc.). It is not what is really there, but it is 'close enough' for the brain to attempt to fill-in-the-blanks for us.

One can live within this 'limitation'. The only problem is that it starts religious wars. Someone sees 'something/somebody' and nails it down to a physical fact. Another someone sees 'something/somebody' else and nails that down to a physical fact. Since they both had a profound experience and both cannot be right, off to the religious wars we go...

Or, we can acknowledge that what we 'see' is only a best-guess by our brains and try to expand on that. Persistent question-and-answer sessions can sort-out (or at least get-closer-to) who/what is really there for a given encounter. One can even develop a down-shifting 'language' of this means that, to stay at least partially hooked-in to what is occurring 'up there'. (Again, it is not The Truth; it is a symbolic closeness to what is there. No religious wars, thank you very much.) And it works the other direction, too. Higher Beings may not understand life/death, pleasure/pain, etc. One can develop ways to up-shift those experiences. I have had more than one Being state that "they had no idea" around some down-here 'reality'.

I should also mention the other side of this: When a higher Being (positive or negative) wants to successfully complete a mission, they are likely to grab-onto and 'project' whatever images are most likely to be accepted. A Christian gets Christian imagery. An Islamic gets Islamic imagery. Etc. (And note that the higher the consciousness level of a Being, the more likely the Being is fully telepathic; no problem ferreting-out what is liked/disliked.) So, also take whatever is being 'projected in' with a grain of salt. Go with your feelings/intuition, and ask for help/guidance from whatever trusted 'sources' you have.

To stave-off feeling overwhelmed by all the above, remember that it is an iterative learning process. One step at a time...

Best Wishes,
Ray B.

May you have the best Christmas ever, and if the news trends continue; the materialists are gonna get reamed over the season, well into next year (if there is one). Looks like trip/reset time may finally have arrived, from the looks of things. I hope all continues as it has over the past week.

Ray; I don't remember addressing a comment to you at all. Is it possible that you took something I was saying to someone else as being directed toward you? In any case, I would not address anything caustic to you. I'm not in that business anymore. Sometimes I have to be direct with someone but that is all it is. I don't want to be in the insult and intimidation business. I just want to listen to the inner voice and that is all I got.

'Someone sees 'something/somebody' and nails it down to a physical fact. Another someone sees 'something/somebody' else and nails that down to a physical fact. Since they both had a profound experience and both cannot be right, off to the religious wars we go..'

Religious wars are no different to wars fought for monarchies, governments, or corporations. They all have but one purpose, to enslave humanity under the satanic elite so they can amass enough power to control the world.

The difference between spiritual people and religious people is spiritual people are willing to die for what they believe in while religious people are willing to kill for what they believe in. Spiritual people are the one's who get nailed to the cross, religious people are the one's who drive the nails in.
